Alessandro Quaglieri is a Ph.D. student in Behavioural Neuroscience and Research Fellow at the Department of Psychology, Sapienza University of Rome and qualified as a Psychologist. He acquired his master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience with a thesis investigating the impairment of decision-making processes in patients with Multiple Sclerosis.
He conducts research mainly on neuropsychological aspects involved in addictive behaviour (e.g., decision-making, risk-taking, emotion regulation). He has been involved in several national and international projects on gambling disorder, road safety and the perception of legality.
