Contact us: find your way to our team in Rome

One address, read by the people who run the research. Write to us about spatial cognition studies, collaborations, or the feeling of being lost in a city you know well.

What to write to us about

  • Take part in a study

We run behavioural sessions in Rome and online: map tasks, route learning, virtual navigation and questionnaires. If you would like to be considered, tell us your age range and whether you often feel lost in familiar places.

  • Propose a collaboration

We work with laboratories, hospitals and companies on assessment tools, virtual reality environments and the study of navigational disorders. Send a short description of the project, the population you can reach and the timeline you have in mind.

  • Ask about topographical disorientation

If you, a family member or a patient gets lost in places that should be familiar, write to us describing what happens and since when. We can point you to the right reading, to our screening work and to specialist services in Rome.

  • Teaching, media and talks

We are glad to support lectures, popular-science events and journalistic pieces on human orientation, from the brain's inner compass to the lost art of reading a paper map.
