She studies spatial cognition across the lifespan in healthy and clinical populations — topographic memory, environmental representation, travel planning and navigational strategies — and is a member of the Di.Vi.Na. Guidoniani Prize in aerospace medicine

Research fellow in Behavioural Neuroscience at Sapienza University of Rome, where he also earned his PhD. His work links brain imaging with spatial navigation, decision making and sustainable mobility, and he trained in assessment and surgical planning for brain-tumour treatment with the Brain Imaging Laboratory. Her research looks at the mnemonic and attentional components of travel planning, at spatial and social anxiety, and at the vestibular contribution to navigation.
